The 5-years Integrated B Plan-M Plan programme comprises of ten semesters. This programme encourages convergence of disciplines like sociology, economics, environment, law, architecture, engineering and many others. The course structure is a blend of various components. The planning studios range from small neighbourhoods to Metropolitan Region. There are courses to develop a strong theoretical foundation, courses catering to technical learning, research-oriented courses, skill development courses and supplementary courses which will ensure the overall development of the student. The last two years of the programme envisages the students to opt for design studio on their chosen specialization like Urban and Regional Planning, Housing & Real Estate, Transport Planning, Infrastructure Planning, Environment and Climate change etc. The programme also gives field exposure to students through Summer-Winter schools and Related study programme organized nationally and internationally. The academic journey with every passing year ensures that the students get better at responding to planning issues in a critical and reflective manner. Lectures and seminars by professionals and academicians are an integral part of the programme to encourage inclusive learning.
