The 18 students of IAPNU, as part of the project ‘Sustainable Horizons Initiatives – Where Tradition Meets Innovation’ helped to construct a multipurpose hall for the children of Kedi School in Dharampur. A collaborative, culturally sensitive educative experience for the students, the project was facilitated by tilisation of improvised traitional techniques and locally sourced mateiral such as bamboo, bricks, mud, rope, and sustainable resources, to lower expenses and integrate tradition with innovation. The project would not have been possible without Prof. Jignesh Patel, structure engineer and designer at the institute. Prof. Biswanath Mudi supported him in the process.
