33% seats of total intake of the B. Arch. Programme will be filled by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Government of Gujarat for the candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from the school located in Gujarat including Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli. 52% of total intake of the B. Arch. programme will be filled by Institute of Architecture & Planning, Nirma University from all over the country.
These seats shall be filled by the candidates who have passed their qualifying examination with minimum % of marks and subject as prescribed by the Government of Gujarat under the admission rules, from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and have valid and qualified NATA score. Merit list for these seats shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and valid NATA score by giving weightage as prescribed by the Government of Gujarat under the admission rules 2023-24.

 

  1. Candidate has to apply online on the website of Nirma University admission portal.
  2. Application form fee
    a. Rs. 1200/- Non Refundable (For applicants outside Gujarat)
    b. Rs. 350/- Non Refundable (For applicants within the Gujarat Sate)
    Payment will be made online through either Credit Card / Debit Card/ Net Banking.
  3. Your application will be treated as complete only after the payment of application fee and allotment of registration number.
  4. Institute timing (for inquiries) :
    Monday to Friday between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm
    Saturday (odd) between 09.00 AM to 02.00 PM
  5. Intake : 42 Seats

The 52% seats of intake shall be filled by Institute of Architecture & Planning, Nirma University under the category of All India seats from the candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State).

  1. Candidate should have qualified in NATA  examination and having valid NATA Score.
  2. The students seeking admission in the 1st year of Degree Programme leading to Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) shall have passed the Qualifying examination with minimum percentage of marks and subjects as prescribed in the rules of admission committee formed by the Govt. of Gujarat and as per the guidelines given by Council of Architecture (CoA) regarding eligibility criteria.
  1. Online application form is available on the university website URL: https://architecture.nirmauni.ac.in and same should be filled with correct information (as per the instruction) and payment should be made by Net banking / Credit card / Debit card.
  2. These seats shall be filled-in by the order of merit only.
  3. The provisional merit list with detailed programme of counselling will be displayed on website. (subject to decision of admission committee)
  4. Score card of NATA and HSC (10+2) or Diploma (10+3) or equivalent Examination Mark Sheet(s) are required to attach with the application form.
  5. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded, instead of percentage marks/percentile in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate from school authorities shall be required to submit.
  6. Offline / Online counselling will be carried out for the admission to First Year B.Arch. Programme 2023 as per the decision taken by Govt. of India/Govt. of Gujarat and Admission Committee of Inst. of Arch. & Planning. Allotted admission seat of the candidate will be confirmed only after the successful payment of necessary fees, subject to verification of Eligibility and necessary documents. The candidate has to report within stipulated time as per the schedule at Institute of Architecture & Planning, Nirma University, Ahmedabad along with following documents (original and two sets of photo copies) and two passport size photographs.

    • Admit Card of NATA

  7. Candidate is required to follow admission procedure and schedule, declared on time to time at the office of the Institute and website.
  • In case of doubt in interpretation of any clause(s) or in dispute on any issue, the decision of the Chairman of the B.Arch. Admission Committee – 2023 of Inst. of Architecture and Planning, Nirma University shall be final.
  • The information provided in the E-Prospectus as well as on the website is pertaining to the current status, and is subject to change. The admission process of the Institute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Ahmedabad.

15% of total intake of the B. Arch. programme will be filled by Institute of Architecture & Planning, Nirma University.

  • NRI seats will be filled in by the candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from the schools located abroad. Merit list for these seats shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and valid NATA score by giving weightage as prescribed by the Government of Gujarat under the admission rules 2023-24. First preference will be given to NRI candidates in admission. After existing NRI candidates merit list, if seats remain vacant, the same will be filled-up by NRI Sponsored candidates.
  • NRI sponsored seats will be filled by the candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State). Merit list for these seats shall be based on marks obtained in qualifying exam and valid NATA score by giving weightage as prescribed by the Government of Gujarat under the admission rules 2023-24.
  • Candidate has to apply online on the website.
  • Application fee is Rs.1200/- (non-refundable) for outside Gujarat candidates and Rs. 350/- (non-refundable) for within the Gujarat candidates. Payment will be made online through either Credit Card / Debit Card/ Net Banking.
  • Your application will be treated as complete only after the payment of an application fee, allotment of registration number.
  • Institute timing (for inquiries) :

  • Intake : 12 Seats

The 15% seats of intake shall be filled by Institute of Architecture & Planning, Nirma University under the category of NRI / NRI Sponsored seats from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located abroad for NRI and in India (including Gujarat State) for NRI Sponsored and having valid NATA score.

  • FOR NON-RESIDENT INDIANS (NRI) CANDIDATE
    1. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination abroad or candidate who have passed qualifying examination from the school located in India and having NRI status.
    2. Candidate must have valid NATA score of NATA examination.
    3. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is mandatorily required from the school authority.
    4. NRI candidate will have to produce equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
  • FOR NRI SPONSORED CANDIDATE
    1. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination and should have valid NATA Score. The admission will be granted based on the merit list prepared on the basis of equal weightage of qualifying exam and valid NATA score only.
    2. Candidate will have to produce a sponsorship letter (as prescribed on institute’s website “Affidavit”) from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire duration of degree programme.
    3. Documentary evidence (like residence proof, visa stamp entry in passport, utility bills etc.) of Sponsor having NRI Status must also be produced.
    4. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is mandatorily required from the school authority.
  • FOLLOWING CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE WILL BE CONSIDERED AS NRI FOR ADMISSION TO B. ARCH. PROGRAMMES.
    1. Passport of a candidate indicating his/her status as ‘Non Resident Indian’.
    2. Certificates of Non Resident Indian issued by the Indian Embassy/Indian Consulate of the Country where the Non Resident Indian is residing.
    3. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders.
    4. Persons who have studied outside India and have passed either 10th or 12th standard and passed the NATA examination from any system of education subject to the eligibility conditions and have NRI status.
  • NRI seats will be filled in by the candidates who have passed their Qualifying Examination from the schools located abroad. Merit list for these seats shall be on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and valid NATA score by giving weightage to be prescribed by the Government of Gujarat under Admission rules 2024-25. First preference will be given to NRI candidates in admission. After existing NRI candidates merit list, if seats remain vacant, the same will be filled-up by NRI-Sponsored candidates.
  • NRI-sponsored seats will be filled by the candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State). Merit list for these seats shall be based on the marks obtained in qualifying examination and valid NATA score by giving weightage to be prescribed by the Government of Gujarat under admission rules 2024-25.
  • Online application form is available on the website https://architecture.nirmauni.ac.in The same should be filled with correct information (as per Instruction) with application fees of as prescribed to be paid online through Net banking/Credit card/Debit card.

    1. Candidate should have qualified in NATA Examination 2023 and having valid NATA score.
    2. No Candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either chemistry or biology or technical vocational subject or computer science or information technology or informatics practices or engineering graphics or business studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 diploma examination with mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
