IAPNU welcomed the first-semester students of B.Arch. and planned a two-week Orientation Programme from August 19-30, 2025 to expose students to the courses, curriculum, hands-on workshops, and guest lectures that helped them gauge the pedagogy of architectural education as well as the learning environment, university infrastructure and student life on the campus. Dr. Aparna and Prof. Krishna Yadav coordinated the programme. Each day, a series of lectures, workshops and on & off-campus visits helped the students understand the use of different media, materials, techniques and creative explorations through the artwork and sculptures they produced. The lectures and workshops on various topics like Fun with Colors, Clay workshop, Model-making and a Sketching trip are shown in the image. These workshops helped students to start discovering their skills and potential for this course. A mix of IAPNU faculty and experts took each session. Orientation programme was organized in different venues of C Block where students simultaneously explored the campus and the need for the workshop. Also, an exhibition of the works produced during the orientation was opened for August 29-30 in one of the First year studios.
