The Institute of Architecture and Planning celebrated its 11th Foundation Day on August 29, 2025. The Institute was honoured to have Shri Vishal Vyas, Chief Architect and Town Planner – Government of Gujarat, as the Chief Guest. He gave a talk on the bridge between “Architectural Education and Practice”. The session saw felicitation of students and faculty with academic awards and FDP certificate distribution. The Foundation Day also saw celebrations in the form of student work exhibition and other expert lectures. Architect Surya Kakani gave a talk titled “Anchoring Practice and Structuring Thought” and Prof. Utpal Sharma talked on “Learning from the Historic Cities”.
