The Institute of Architecture & Planning, Nirma University, organised its Orientation Programme 2026 from 3 to 7 August 2026 to welcome the new batch of first-semester students and introduce them to the Institute’s academic, creative, and campus environment.
The programme began with the welcome and inaugural address, followed by introductions to faculty members and sessions on Institute administration, student support, and examination processes. Students also participated in counselling and mentoring sessions, anti-ragging awareness, and introductions to NSS, sports, cultural activities and the student body. A campus and hostel familiarisation activity further helped students settle into their new environment.
The orientation week was further enriched through a series of hands-on and creative activities, including sketching, origami, colour, clay and model-making workshops. Students also attended sessions organised by the Women’s Development Cell (WDC) on mental health awareness, along with an inspiring alumni interaction.
The week-long programme gave students an engaging start to their journey at IAPNU, encouraging them to explore, learn, create, and connect with the vibrant academic community of Nirma University. Please find the images attached
