  1. As mandated under Council of Architecture CoA – New Delhi (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education for Post-Graduate Degree Programme) Guidelines for imparting Master’s degree Course in Architecture, the candidate needs to qualify an entrance test for admission to Post-Graduate Programme in Architecture.
  2. CoA shall be conducting Post Graduate Entrance Test in Architecture (PGETA 2024) at national level on July 28, 2024, and August 04, 2024, for admission to Post Graduate Programme in Architecture being imparted at the Architectural Institutions approved by the Council of Architecture for the academic session 2024-2025.
  3. After qualifying in the Entrance Test, students may apply to our institute.

NRI (SELF)

  1. The 15% seats of intake shall be filled by Institute of Architecture & Planning, Nirma University under the category of NRI / NRI  Sponsored seats from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from abroad for  NRI (Self) and in India (including Gujarat State) for NRI Sponsored and  having valid degree.
  2. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point  Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is mandatorily required from the competent authority.
  3. NRI candidate will have to produce equivalence certificate of  qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi and Council Of Architecture,New Delhi.

NRI SPONSORED CANDIDATE

  1. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination. The  admission will be granted based on the merit list prepared on the basis of criteria as decided by the institute/university.
  2. Candidate will have to produce a sponsorship letter (as  prescribed on institute’s website “Affidavit”) from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire duration of degree programme.
  3. Documentary evidence (like residence proof, visa stamp entry in passport, utility bills etc.) of Sponsor having NRI Status must also be produced.
  4. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point  Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is mandatorily required from the school authority.
  1. Passport of a candidate indicating his/her status as ‘Non Resident  Indian’.
  2. Certificates of Non Resident Indian issued by the Indian Embassy/ Indian Consulate of the Country where the Non Resident Indian is residing.
  3. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders.
  4. Persons who have studied outside India and have passed their  qualifying examination  and passed the NATA examination from any system of education subject to the eligibility conditions and have NRI status.
  1. The candidate must have passed an examination in B.Arch degree or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPI as per COA norms.
  2. The candidate needs to qualify the Post Graduate Entrance Test in Architecture as per COA and competent authority norms.
