NRI (SELF)

  1. The 15% seats of intake shall be filled by Institute of Architecture & Planning, Nirma University under the category of NRI / NRI  Sponsored seats from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from abroad for  NRI (Self) and in India (including Gujarat State) for NRI Sponsored and  having valid degree.
  2. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point  Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is mandatorily required from the competent authority.

NRI SPONSORED CANDIDATE

  1. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination. The  admission will be granted based on the merit list prepared on the basis of criteria as decided by the institute/university.
  2. Candidate will have to produce a sponsorship letter (as  prescribed on institute’s website “Affidavit”) from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire duration of degree programme.
  3. Documentary evidence (like residence proof, visa stamp entry in passport, utility bills etc.) of Sponsor having NRI Status must also be produced.
  4. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point  Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is mandatorily required from the school authority.
    1. Passport of a candidate indicating his/her status as ‘Non Resident  Indian’.
    2. Certificates of Non Resident Indian issued by the Indian Embassy/ Indian Consulate of the Country where the Non Resident Indian is residing.
    3. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders.

  • In case of doubt in interpretation of any clause(s) or in dispute on any issue, the decision of the Chairman of the M.Plan. Admission Committee – 2025 of Inst. of Architecture and Planning, Nirma University shall be final.
