Eligibility for Admission

  • The student shall have passed 1st year/ 2nd Year of B.Arch. programme from an institute/university recognized by Council of Architecture with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade along with the basic eligibility for admission in B.Arch. programme as prescribed by Govt. of Gujarat & Council of Architecture from time to time.
  • The student should have valid NATA score and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned institute/university while applying for
    admission through transfer.
  • The student has to submit the enrolment number issued by Council of Architecture or the certificate issued by Council of Architecture, if
    the enrolment number is not issued.Then student is not eligible.

Determination of Merit for the Admission

The merit list shall be prepared by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in HSC/Diploma or equivalent examination and NATA score of the corresponding year (i.e. 1st year of admission to B.Arch. programme)

Guidelines, Fees and documents requirements for application for Transfer

a. Non-refundable application form fee of Rs. 350/-  for students who have passed their qualifying exam within the Gujarat and Rs. 1200/- for the students who have passed their qualifying exam outside the Gujarat be charged.

b. The No Objection Certificate from concered institute/university is required to be submitted with an application form, however, it does not
confer any right and claim by the candidate for final admission. The University reserves the right to accept or reject or withhold such applications on administrative grounds without assigning any reason thereof.

c. The No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Council of Architecture is required to be submitted at the time of admission for transfer from one
Institute / University to other Institute/University.

d. Migration Certificate from the previous university required to be submitted.

e. If any student admitted by transfer does not meet with the courses taught in the 1st or 2nd Year of B.Arch. programme at the Institute of
Architecture & Planning, Nirma University, he/she shall be required to study and successfully complete the courses of 1st or 2nd year as
pre-requisite requirement.

f. If admission granted, the student has to pay the requisite annual fees i.e. Tuition Fees – Rs. 2,30,000/- (Per annum), Examination Fees – Rs.
11000/- (Per annum), Enrolment Fees – Rs. 1000/-, Refundable Security – Rs.7000/-, Eligibility Fees – Rs. 1000/- and or subject to revision / any
amendment from time to time by the Fee Regulatory Committee, Govt. of Gujarat for the applicable year. (For All India Category)

Tuition Fees – US$ 6500 (per annum), Examination Fees – Rs. 11000/- (Perannum), Enrolment Fees – Rs. 1000/-, Refundable Security – Rs. 7000/-,
Eligibility Fees – Rs. 1000/- and or subject to revision / any amendmentfrom time to time by the university. (For NRI/NRI Sponsored Category)

The above mentioned fee structure is subject to amendment from time to time and abiding to the admitted students.

g. Applicant has to submit copy of qualifying examination marksheet (i.e.HSC/Diploma) and NATA score card.

h. Applicant has to submit copy of marksheet of previous year (i.e. 1st or upto 2nd year of B.Arch., as may applicable)

i. NRI sponsored candidate has to submit affidavit duly signed and notarized by the concerned authorities along with copy of sponsored passport, residence proof.

j. The student admitted through transfer shall not be eligible for awarding of medals and scholarship.

k. The student will have to fill the enrolment form of the university.

l. All disputes are subject to Ahmedabad (Gujarat) jurisdiction only.

Process to Submit Application Form

  • Application form is available on our website with title “Application Form for Admission by Transfer”
  • Please fill and print all the respective fields in the application form.
  • Attach all the educational and other documents as required and mentioned above with the filled application form.
  • Applicant must submit the duly signed application form alongwith requisite documents and form fees (Rs. 350/- for
    students who have passed their HSC/Diploma exam within the Gujarat and Rs. 1200/- for the students who have passed their HSC/Diploma exam outside the Gujarat by DD or Cheque in favour of Institute of Architecture & Planning under Nirma University) by way of forwarding hardcopy through post/courier and through mail –admission.iap@nirmauni.ac.in
    (Note: if application submitted through mail please forward the DD/Cheque towards application form fees to below mentioned address)
  • Filled application form should be reached to this office on or before 3.00 pm of 25.07.2023 and after that no application form will be accepted in any case including postal/courier delay.
