About

  • Atul chose Architecture as a profession based on his hobby of designing spaces. He had three-dimensional visualization abilities from an early age, along with a zeal for Science and Arts both. He did his B.Arch from the Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics, JMI, New Delhi (NIRF: 6th). He worked in eminent Architectural offices, including Fairwood Consultants Pvt. ltd. and Silhouette Design Studio, and has experience in projects like Hospitals, Multiplex, Government Institutional Buildings, Banquet Halls, and Schools. Furthermore, for higher education, Atul qualified GATE examination and secured admission to the prestigious IIT Roorkee for a Masters degree in Urban and Rural Planning. His Masters Thesis was titled "Strategic Intervention for Master Plan of Roorkee Town, 2035" This was later shown to Government officials of Uttrakhand Town Planning Department. He was offered an academic position in teaching and research at Maharaja Agrasen University, H.P., where he worked for about two and a half years and taught B. Arch students. During this time, he was honoured with the award of a highly regarded Fellowship under the Ucchatar Avishkar Yojana, envisaged by NITI Aayog. Atul completed an industry-sponsored research project on fast-paced affordable housing, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. Thereafter, he focused on his full-time PhD at IIT Roorkee and secured several intellectual property rights, including a filed Patent, Q1 Journal Paper and Conference proceedings. He visited eminent universities like Pennsylvania State University, USA, and the University of London, U.K., to present his research work.
