About

  • I hold a Diploma in Interior Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from Aligarh Muslim University, along with a Master of Architecture from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Additionally, I have a PG Diploma in Urban Planning from IGNOU. Currently, I completed my PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, with my thesis focused on developing a Thermal Comfort Index for sedentary work environments. My passion for innovative research and practical applications in architecture and design is reflected in my patent publication for the "Personalized Comfort System". Throughout my academic journey, I have contributed significantly to the field through publications in reputable journals and presentations at international conferences. Notable among these are studies on thermal comfort in subtropical regions, bioclimatic zoning for India, and the impact of intra-climate variation on public housing thermal performance. Additionally, I have presented my research work at conferences in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. I have supplemented my education with certifications in building performance analysis, sustainable land use planning, and climate change from prestigious institutions such as Autodesk University, the World Bank, and the United Nations. My dedication to continuous learning is evident through my active participation in workshops and competitions, both nationally and internationally. Having won accolades such as the 2nd prize in IIT Kanpur for EQ Resistant Design and earning distinctions in courses. My extensive research experience and commitment to advancing the field of building science will undoubtedly enrich the learning environment and inspire future generations of architects and researchers.
