The Centre for Continuing Education at Nirma University conducted a two-day training program on Building Information Modelling (BIM) for Construction Management on February 15 and 22, 2025. The workshop was jointly organized by the Institute of Technology and Institute of Architecture and Planning, under the coordination of Dr. Lukman Mansuri (Civil Engineering Department) and Ar. Biswanath Mudi (Institute of Architecture and Planning). The program provided hands-on training in Revit software, focusing on BIM-based construction project management. Students learned about 4D and 5D BIM applications, which enhance traditional 3D models with scheduling and cost estimation capabilities. The workshop covered current industry trends, including integration with emerging technologies, advanced visualization, and sustainable construction practices.This initiative reflects the growing global mandate for BIM adoption in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector, preparing students for industry demands in efficient resource management and construction planning.
