Smart city lab IGLUS Centre of Excellence (ICE) was inaugurated at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) City on January 27, 2020, with the joint efforts of GIFT, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Institute of Architecture and Planning, Nirma University. The centre will act as a common hub for global experts and practitioners in the field of sustainable urban planning.
The centre will provide a platform for exchange of ideas and best practices on smart cities. It will also connect experts from its global network, provide Smart City consultancy services and organise joint conferences and workshops and regional trainings on smart city topics.
