The Institute of Architecture and Planning, Nirma University (IAPNU) successfully hosted NASA NEXUS–IAPNU 2026 on January 31, 2026, as part of the NASA India initiative under the National Association of Students of Architecture. Conceived as a dynamic and interactive platform, the event aimed to extend learning beyond conventional academic frameworks by encouraging dialogue, creativity, and collaboration.
Centred on the theme “Connect | Collaborate | Create,” the programme fostered networking, interdisciplinary engagement, and community building among architecture students. It brought together around 80 participants from institutions including IAPNU, SAL School of Architecture, Ganpat University, and APIED, promoting inter-university interaction and collective learning.
A major academic component was the hands-on bridge model-making workshop conducted by Prof. Ar. Parag Mistry, which emphasized experiential learning through structural exploration, teamwork, and problem-solving. This was complemented by Architectural Monopoly, an innovative activity integrating architectural knowledge with strategy and creative thinking.
The event enabled students to develop key professional skills such as collaboration, leadership, and networking, while strengthening cultural exchange and community bonding. Overall, NASA NEXUS–IAPNU 2026 reaffirmed IAPNU’s commitment to holistic architectural education by seamlessly integrating academic rigor with creativity and collaborative engagement.
