Institute of Architecture and planning organized an international with second and fourth year students from June 3 to 18, 2024. The field studio was an extension of a collaboration with ENSA, Mauritius. The students worked in groups on the live Metro project of Mocha, Mauritius. The studio was filled with everyday lunch talks, expert lectures and discussions with professionals and academicians. The studio was designed and executed by Yann Rocher, Anna Mallac Sim, Gabrielle Brun, Vibha Gajjar and Foram Bhavsar. It included a number of architectural excursions in Mocha smart City site visit, Port Louis-Apravasi ghat and slavery museum, City square and Marina bay, Grand bassin, ecological and biodiversity park and Eureka house. The studio ended with a students work review and discussion by an eminent professional working with the Metro project.
